Many users only provide the heat exchange area when purchasing a heat exchanger, without specific data such as heat exchange capacity, medium flow rate, inlet and outlet temperatures. As a result, although the model and area of the purchased heat exchanger are correct, the process combination is unreasonable, and the equipment cannot achieve the expected results. Even on this basis, it is useless.

2. System configuration reasons

The heat exchanger plays a role in heat conversion and follows the law of energy conduction, which means that the heat released on the hot side is equal to the heat absorbed on the cold side. In most cases, the heat from the heating system on the hot side is not carried away by enough cooling water on the cold side, such as insufficient water volume or water temperature, resulting in the inability to lower the temperature on the hot side. If this is the reason, the heat exchanger, no matter how large, is useless.
